The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 238,894 cases, 1,142 people hospitalized and 3,939 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 1,089 new cases, 13 additional hospitalizations and 52 additional deaths from Sunday.
10 new cases were reported in local areas, with Pasquotank County reporting the highest local case increase at 3. No new deaths were reported locally for Monday.
A total of 3,640,086 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
