Percent of positive COVID-19 tests down in North Carolina; Local areas report 38 new cases since Sunday

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Monday, there are now 167,313 cases, 923 people hospitalized and 2,702 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 1,186 new cases, 923 additional hospitalizations and 10 more deaths from Sunday.

A total of 2,256,172 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
