PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The City of Portsmouth informed residents that City Hall will be temporarily closed for COVID-19 cleaning.

City officials say City Hall is set to close for COVID-19 disinfecting and cleaning starting Monday through Wednesday.

City Hall will resume services on Thursday.

Virginia reported 70,670 total cases, 67,830 of which are confirmed and 2,840 are probable on Sunday. As of Sunday, there are 1,966 total coronavirus related deaths, with 1,859 being confirmed and 107 being probable.
