The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Sunday there are now 318,763 PCR positive cases and 18,012 antigen positive cases, totaling 336,775 total positive cases.
1,571 people are being hospitalized for COVID-19 and there have been 5,034 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 4,514 new total cases and 29 additional deaths from Saturday.
A total of 4,929,602 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
