Virginia Beach Circuit Court and Clerk’s Office closed all week due to COVID-19 cases

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in Virginia Beach will be closed October 26-30 due to COVID-19 cases.

Officials said there have been four positive COVID-19 tests and others are being tested within the office.

Because of this, the Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office for the entire week.

“This was not a decision that we arrived at lightly, but unfortunately, we do not see a way that this office can perform its duties at the present time with as many staff that are out now being tested for this awful virus,” Tina Sinnen said.

They are hopeful that officials can re-evaluate again on Friday and hopefully conduct the Court’s and the Clerk’s Office business soon thereafter.
