Virginia coronavirus case number jumps by 640 in a day

Coronavirus cases in Virginia jumped a significant amount from Monday to Tuesday.

Virginia now has 9,630 COVID-19 cases and 324 virus-related deaths reported. Of the cases, 9,451 have been confirmed and 179 are probable and 321 deaths are confirmed and three are probable.

These numbers show cases rose by 640 and deaths went up by 24 in a day.

Overall, 58,354 people have been tested in Virginia as of Tuesday morning.
