YORK Co., Va. - Deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired near a local middle school Friday afternoon.
Officials told News 3 witnesses reported that shots were fired near the basketball court at Tabb Middle School and that they believed someone may have been shot.
A video that was obtained showed one shooter shooting at a person running into the woods near the school buses.
The suspect is described as a black male, 6’ 1”, wearing all black, with small dreadlocks and a do-rag, and black Crocs.
Officials said they're aware that people from other localities who frequently use the basketball court.
