Dolly has formed over the north Atlantic, and became the fourth named tropical storm of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season.
As of 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dolly is now a post-tropical remnant low.
The once tropical storm is undergoing a gradual weakening phase, as it continues on a northeast track in the Atlantic more than 400 miles SW of Newfoundland.
The maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph with higher gusts.
The fourth named storm never posed a threat to Hampton Roads.
Dolly is expected to dissipate by Thursday morning.
