VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police responded to a crash Saturday afternoon that left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Officials say police are currently on-scene of a pedestrian involved crash on Atlantic Avenue and 25th Street.
According to police, the pedestrian is seriously injured and the driver of the vehicle has been detained.
Atlantic Avenue will be shut down at 25th Street as police investigate.
