CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Chesapeake Fire and Chesapeake Police responded to a crash that left power lines down Tuesday afternoon.
Crews responded to the crash in the 3900 block of S. Military Highway after a dump truck struck a power line, causing a utility pole to fall on truck.
Police say the driver is not injured and has been instructed to remain in the truck until Dominion Energy secures power to the effected lines.
Traffic will be closed at S. Military Hwy and Colony Manor Rd for an extended period of time, according to officials.
