ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - The Elizabeth City Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was found dead inside a home Saturday afternoon.
According to police, at approximately 4:37 p.m., officers responded to 1403 Herrington Road in reference to a subject that was found deceased inside the residence. The victim was identified as 29-year-old Jeremy Jerel Floyd.
Police have not released Floyd's cause or manner of death, and there is currently no suspect information.
