Florida man killed in Virginia Beach motorcycle crash, Norfolk woman charged with involuntary manslaughter

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia State Police Department responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on I-264 early Saturday morning.

According to police, at approximately 12:09 a.m., officers responded to I-264 W, west of Lynnhaven Parkway, for the crash.

Police learned that Norfolk woman Cali Ly Vu Huynh, 37, was driving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee westbound on I-264 when she struck a 2017 Yamaha FZ07. The rider of the Yamaha, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene.

The Virginia State Police Reconstruction Team was called to assist in the investigation of the crash.

Huynh was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. She was taken to Virginia Beach City Jail, receiving no bond. Alcohol was a contributing factor, police said.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Samuel Stephen Cleghorn of Jenson Beach, Florida.
