If you are looking for a way to travel this summer Amtrak is offering a buy one get one (BOGO) deal. The deal is to buy one roomette and bring one companion for free. Roomettes are designed to provide overnight amenities for customers who want to travel in comfort.
Roomettes feature two comfortable seats by day that convert to upper and lower berths by night, Amtrak said. Each room includes a big picture window, fresh towels and linens and access to a private restroom and shower in your car. A dedicated sleeping car attendant provides turndown service, assists with meals, helps with luggage and shares great stories of life on the rails.
All customers in private rooms receive complimentary lounge access at major stations, priority boarding and complimentary meals on board. Two passengers can travel together one-way for as low as:
Customers can book on the Amtrak website or by using the app and can book between July 7-17, 2020 for travel from July 13, 2020, through September 30, 2020.
Use theFare Finder or enter code V306 when you book through the Amtrak app. Amtrak requires that customers place a reservation at least three days in advance.
