HAMPTON, Va. - All aboard the Book Bus!
Librarians with Hampton City Schools were scheduled to bring Buster's Book Bus Bazaar to local neighborhoods on Thursday, January 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event has been postponed due to inclimate weather.
The Book Bus will make the following stops:
Bus #169
- 10-10:45 a.m. - Hampton Club Drive and Lucinda Court
- 11:15 a.m. -12 p.m. - Floyd Thompson Drive and Derby Run
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - Orcutt Avenue and Friendly Drive
- 3-4 p.m. - Kroger at 1050 W. Mercury Boulevard
Bus #002
- 10-10:45 a.m. - N. Fifth Street and Rogers Avenue
- 11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. - S. Hope Avenue and Downes Street
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - Moton Elementary School
- 3-4 p.m. Kroger at 1050 W. Mercury Boulevard
Bus #011
- 10-10:45 a.m. - Old Foxhill Road and AutoZone Way
- 11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. - 102 Doolittle Road
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - Old Buckroe Road at Soccer Complex
- 3-4 p.m. - Kroger at 1050 W. Mercury Boulevard
Bus #164
- 10-10:45 a.m. - Century Plaza Apartments
- 11:15 a.m. - 12 p.m. - Maryland Avenue (Boys & Girls Club)
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - 4020 Victoria Boulevard at Sunset Apartments
- 3-4 p.m. - Kroger at 1050 W. Mercury Boulevard
Books will be available for elementary, middle and high school students, and you can return any HCS library books to the Book Bus.
Students will be allowed to keep the books for three weeks and return them to when the Book Bus bounces back to the bus stop.
