Catch a free flick - or four - at 'Halloween Movie Madness' in Portsmouth this October

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - It's time to get into the Halloween spirit!

Portsmouth's Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion is inviting your family to its "Halloween Movie Madness" every Saturday night throughout the month of October. Four family-friendly movies will be shown at the Pavilion for free.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and movies start at 7 p.m. under the stars. Open seating is unreserved and will be set up to adhere to social distancing safety requirements.

Below is the schedule for Halloween Movie Madness:

  • Saturday, October 3 - Monsters, Inc. (G)
  • Saturday, October 10 - Frankenweenie (PG)
  • Saturday, October 17 - Hotel Transylvania (PG)
  • Saturday, October 24 - The Addams Family (2019) (PG)

Guests are encouraged to dress in costume.

To limit person-to-person contact and encourage social distancing, guests will be allowed to bring their own food and beverages. Beverages will be limited to non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles no larger than 20 ounces.

Parking is free in all City of Portsmouth garages and lots.
