NORFOLK, Va. - Bark, the furry angels sing!

The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center wants to woof you a "Meowy" Christmas, so they're offering a sweet deal for the "howl-idays": You can adopt any animal for just $35 from December 19 through January 2, 2021.

Click here to see all animals available for adoption and visit NACC's Facebook page to see live videos of the animals. The shelter will provide adoption counseling by phone or email.

If you'd like to meet the animals in person, you can schedule a time for a visit through WaitWhile. Limits remain on the number of people in the building to maintain COVID-19 safety precautions, and all visitors and staff are required to wear masks.

Want to help local pets in need during this season of giving? Donate wet or dry food to NACC’s pet pantry and help furry families stay together. The shelter can always use towels and blankets for cat condos and dog kennels. You can also find an Amazon wishlist and more ways to help with the Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center, who are supporting this adoption promotion.

Merry "Catsmas" and Happy "Hannukat!"
