Stuff a Suffolk Police car on December 5 and help local kids have a happy holiday

SUFFOLK, Va. - Got any holiday shopping scheduled for this weekend? If so, you can make a big difference in the lives of local children by participating in the Suffolk Police Department’s “Stuff the Police Car” event on Saturday, December 5.

The goal is to collect as many new and unwrapped toys as possible, which will then be turned over to Toys for Tots.

A Suffolk Police vehicle and volunteer officers will be at the following locations from from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the day of the event:

  • Walmart - 1200 N. Main Street
  • Walmart - 6259 College Drive

You are advised not to attend this event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days.

Social distancing of at least six will be required. You are asked bring a mask for everyone in your party anytime social distancing of at least six cannot be maintained.
