Suffolk to kick off 'Broadway' movie night series with viewing of Hairspray

SUFFOLK, Va. - Grab your family and friends for a movie night because Hairspray is coming to Suffolk!

Suffolk Tourism, in partnership with the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts, presents "From Stage To Screen", a series of three former Broadway favorites.

The series kicks off with Hairspray on Thursday, January 14 at the Birdsong Theater.

Admission is $3 per person, and the movie will begin at 7 p.m.

Only 100 seats are available, to allow for social distancing and masks are required.

The series will continue on February 11 with Dreamgirls and conclude with The Phantom of the Opera on March 11.
