NORFOLK, Va. - It's almost time to get into the holiday spirit!

Norfolk Botanical Garden's Dominion Energy Garden of Lights is returning for its 26th year starting Friday, November 13 from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly. The unique drive-thru event is a must-do on your holiday checklist.

Due to the pandemic, the Garden of Lights will be an all-driving experience this year with new online scheduled time-slot ticketing in order to keep guests safe. Since the Garden is expecting high visitation, tickets must be purchased in advance.

Immerse yourself in more than a million bulbs installed throughout the Garden from the safety, comfort and convenience of your vehicle. All your favorite holiday displays from years past will return.

Look for animated color-changing arches, motion laser lights, more than 100 lit trees and a celebratory New Year’s scene featuring lifelike fireworks. All of the holiday lights and displays are made up of LED lights, saving energy and cost. Plus, this light show is powered by 100% renewable energy!

The magical extravaganza has once again been nominated in USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice travel awards for the Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights. The Garden has placed in the top five two years in a row. You can vote every day here.

Tickets are $25 for Garden members and $35 for non-members. Military members, Dominion Energy employees and City of Norfolk employees receive a $5 discount Sunday-Thursday. Visit the Garden's website for other discount and pricing information.

Special holiday treats will be available for purchase by Marigold & Honey.

Dominion Energy Garden of Lights runs through Saturday, January 2.

Norfolk Botanical Garden is located at 6700 Azalea Garden Road.
