VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A kind offering to the kids of Hampton Roads.

Wednesday, Virginia Natural Gas teamed up with Operation Warm to hand out more than 100 new coats to kids in need.

The coats were given to children at the Rosemont Boys and Girls Club in Virginia Beach.

“It's a tremendous gift for the kids when you think about all that has taken place in the communities as far as families - the impact that the pandemic has had on families and loss of jobs and things of this sort. Many children are in need of warm coats. So, to provide these brand-new coats to those in need is truly a benefit, and we are thankful to provide that," said said Ken Magee, Community Affairs manager for Virginia Natural Gas.
