HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Saturday night.
Police say they received a call around 10:37 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 2000 block of Richard Avenue.
33-year-old Reginald Jenkins Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, police say another man walked into a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
31-year-old Sean Anthony McNeil was arrested and charged with use of a firearm in the commision of a felony and murder, according to police.
McNeil is being held in Hampton City Jail.
Officers are on the scene of a shooting in the 2000 Block of Richard Avenue. One deceased male. There is no further information at this time.
