HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in connection with a business robbery that took place early Monday morning.
Around 5:00 a.m., officials received a call of a robbery that had just occurred at the Wawa located in the 2400 block of West Mercury Boulevard.
According to the investigation, the suspect entered Wawa, threatened the clerk, and went behind the counter where he took tobacco products.
Police describe the suspect as a black male approximately 5'7'’ to 6'0'’ wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, a black and white bandana, and mask covering his face.
Police say there are no photos of the suspect available at this time.
