HAMPTON, Va. - The Hampton Police Division is investigating after a shooting that left a man injured in the 1600 block of Hardy Cash Drive Thursday night.
According to police, at 8:07 p.m., dispatch received a call for a shooting on Hardy Cash Drive. When officers arrived, they located a 27-year-old man who had been struck by gunfire.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the victim was outside in the area when he was shot at by an unknown individual. The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation, and there is currently no suspect information.
