Hampton Police search for robbery suspect

HAMPTON, Va. - Hampton Police are looking for a suspect in a robbery that happened Monday around 8:15 p.m.

Police responded to a report that a robbery happened at the Dollar Tree located in the first block of Lincoln Street.

According to a news release, investigators for that the suspect entered the business and demanded money.

Officials said that the suspect ran after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a light skin mixed race male wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, black tennis shoes with white soles, dark knit cap, and a blue tube style facial mask. There are no photos of the suspect available at this time.
