NORFOLK, Va. - People in Hampton Roads can now get free COVID-19 testing daily.

The Community Health Center (HRCHC) offers appointments for testing, at its CommuniCare location outside the Young Terrace Community Center.

The director of nursing with HRCHC, Sarah Rogers, says offering free tests where patients aren't required to have insurance is a great way to reach the underserved community.

“At HRCHC, we are here to bridge that accessibility gap and provide COVID-19 testing to individuals who would otherwise not have access," adds Rogers.

The non-profit also provides transportation to residents who may need it.
