JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. - The Peninsula Health District is looking for a dog that bit a person on Monday.
Health officials say they are searching for a small sized black and white dog, that bit a person on July 13 in the 9100 block of Diascund Road.
If this dog is not found, the victims may have to get shots for the prevention of rabies.
Once found, the dog will not be taken away from its owner, only placed on an in-home confinement period of 10 days.
