YORKTOWN, Va. — A 40-year-old Virginia Beach man is facing charges in connection to a July incident at Water Country USA involving two teenagers.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office reports that on July 18, their office began investigating a complaint made by two sisters who told police they had been approached by an older man multiple times and initiated "flirtatious conversations" with them.
The teens also told police that the man, later identified as Matthew Morris, touched them inappropriately.
Morris was later identified and booked into the Norfolk City Jail on two counts of sexual battery - misdemeanor assault.
