James City Co. Police looking for person who vandalized department's radar trailer

JAMES CITY Co., Va. - James City County Police say someone vandalized the department's radar trailer this week, and they need your help to find whoever did it.

Police say the the device was vandalized sometime between 9 p.m. on April 20 and 12 p.m. on April 21. The trailer was parked in the 140 block of Devon Road in Windsor Forest.

In a picture of the radar trailer that police provided, it looks as if someone spray painted over the speed limit on the sign.

Police are asking anyone who has seen anyone or anything suspicious in the area - especially if you have home security video camera systems that may have captured something concerning- to please contact them at 757-253-1800 or call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887).
