JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. - James City County Police Department is hiring Virginia certified (BLE) police officers.
JCCPD has opportunities in the following departments: Marine Patrol, Underwater Search and Recovery, SWAT, Police Motors, a take-home car, a gym and more. Officials say benefits package include health and dental insurance, retirement, life insurance, tuition assistance, a home ownership program and more. Certified officers may start as a Police Officer I with a $43,500 salary or Police Officer II with a $45,674 salary.
Applicants must be a 21-year-old U.S. citizen, high school diploma/GED, acceptable driving record, have no felony convictions, and must pass a fitness test.
