ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Over 40 local musicians created a virtual musical tribute to the staff at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center as a way to thank them during the hospital’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 40 children created imagery for the video. Organized by Elizabeth City Middle School Band Director, Dan Simmons, the musicians played a selection of six songs through the use of video chat and other technology.

What a creative way to give thanks to the many that risks their lives daily.
