HAMPTON, Va. - The non-profit organization Parents Against Bullying VA and Second Calvary Baptist Church (SCBC) Puppets In Praise are teaming up to host a virtual bully awareness forum for youth in the community.

Shant’a Miller, the chief executive officer of Parents Against Bullying, creates safe spaces for kids and their families with an emphasis on summer programs. Due to COVID-19, most of the focus has shifted to the best ways to practice cleanliness and bullying awareness to keep youth protected and engaged.

A Facebook Live interactive chat with the SCBC Puppets in Praise will take place on July 28 at 6 p.m. The SCBC, Puppets and Miller will talk about topics such as “What is bullying?”, some COVID-19 safety tips, and more.
