NORFOLK, Va. – A Norfolk woman has been charged after a stabbing that happened Monday morning.
Police said the incident happened in the 300 block of S. Military Highway.
Police responded to a residence for a report of a stabbing victim and said they located a man who was suffering from a stab wound.
The man, 39-year-old Dwan Winborne, was taken to Sentara Leigh Hospital for treatment, where he later died as a result of his injuries, police said.
As a result of their investigation, detectives have charged 32-year-old Shana Winborne, with Second Degree Murder.
She is currently being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
