NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one person dead Monday evening.
Police say around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of Jenifer Street.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found 22-year-old Carl A. Bell suffering from gunshot wounds.
Bell was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police.
Police officials say Bell was shot by a resident after gaining entry into a home.
Police are not looking for any suspects.
