Man found shot in Norfolk home dies at hospital

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk detectives are now investigating a homicideafter a man died following last week's shooting on Wyoming Avenue.

On September 8, around 10:50 p.m. police responded to a home in the 2500 block of Wyoming Avenue for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man, identified as Michael Corbin, 35, of Norfolk, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

On September 13, Corbin died from his injuries.

Detectives have not released a motive or any suspect information surrounding this incident.
