Man injured after Suffolk shooting, police investigating

SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Police are investigating an early Sunday morning shooting.

Officials received a call regarding gun shots at 12:27 a.m., in the 600 block of First Avenue.

According to the investigation, both a residence and a vehicle were shot at.

No injuries were reported at the scene, but police say they were notified later of a gunshot victim who walked into a local hospital.

35-year-old Devin Williams was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident.
