One injured after Virginia Beach Wawa shooting, police investigating

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police responded to a shooting at a Wawa that sent one person to the hospital Saturday.

Police responded to a shooting around 3:48 p.m., at the Wawa located at 4377 Holland Road.

Officers responded to the scene and learned that the victim, who was taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle, was in a vehicle when people in another vehicle fired shots at them.

The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

Police are still investigating and no further details have been released at this time.
