Man killed in early morning Norfolk shooting, police on scene

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Police Department responded to a deadly shooting in the Berkley section of the city early Saturday morning.

According to police, the call came in around 5:15 a.m. for a shooting in the 200 block of Poplar Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man dead at the scene.

Police identified the man that was fatally shot as 43-year-old Alfred M. Robinson of Chesapeake.
