HAMPTON, Va. - Police are investigating after a man was killed Saturday afternoon.
Police said they were responding to the scene around 12:45 p.m. The incident happened in the 1400 block of Aberdeen Road.
Officers said they located a vehicle stopped in the roadway with an adult male inside. The man had been shot and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
On March 22, the victim was identified as Dylan Terrelle Edmunds, a 20-year-old Newport News man.
The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation, and there is no suspect information to disseminate at this time, police said.
