Police said a 33-year-old man was killed in a shooting in Hampton early Thursday morning.
Just before 6:55 a.m., the Hampton Police Department said officers were called to the 700 block of Fallon Court for a report of a shooting.
Officers said they found Christopher Ragsdale, of Hampton, lying in the yard with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
The motive and circumstances are under investigation, police said. Authorities said there was no suspect information immediately available.
