PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A man was shot to death early Wednesday morning in Portsmouth, police said.
According to police, dispatch received a call at 12:51 a.m. notifying them of a gunshot wound victim in the 2700 block of Turnpike Road. When officers arrived, they found a man with a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body.
Police said that there is currently no suspect information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
