Man dies from injuries following motorcycle crash in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left one man dead.

The call for a crash in the 1900 block of Lafayette Boulevard came in around 6:15 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene at the intersection of Lafayette Blvd. and Tidewater Drive, they found the driver of the motorcycle suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The man, 56-year-old Matthew Kulik, of Norfolk, was taken to the hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and was not injured,=.

The crash is under investigation.
