NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Around 8:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Newport News police say they responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of 33rd Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
