Man stabbed in Suffolk, police investigating

SUFFOLK, Va. - The Suffolk Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left a man injured late Saturday night.

According to police, the incident happened 100 block of South Capital Street around 10:08 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male victim who had been stabbed.

Following medical assessment and treatment by Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel, the man was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. No additional information is available for release.
