PORTSMOUTH, Va. - A man was seriously injured in a shooting that took place Saturday afternoon.
Portsmouth Police are investigating a shooting in the 2500 block of Airline Boulevard.
Police say a man has sustained a serious gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital.
News 3 is currently on the scene working to learn more details. The surrounding businesses are blocked with crime tape and the door of a fried chicken restaurant was shot at. Police are still on the scene.
