ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Officials in Pasquotank County have arrested a suspect wanted for the early morning homicide of a man Monday.
Around 2:31 a.m., Pasquotank County Central Communications received a call for a gunshot victim in the 300 block of Travis Drive in Elizabeth City.
When deputies from the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office arrived on scene, they found the victim, identified as Oshea Tyquan Lee, unresponsive after he had been shot.
Authorities immediately performed CPR on Lee, who was then taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office have identified the suspect as Keenan Nafis Vann-Jason of Elizabeth City. He was wanted for Murder.
On Tuesday, investigators with the sheriff's office found and arrested Vann-Jason, who was taken into custody without incident.
Vann-Jason was processed and brought before a magistrate. He has been charged with Murder and is currently being detained at Albemarle District Jail without bond.
