RICHMOND, Va. - The Department of Defense has reported that an Army soldier from Richmond has died in casualty.
DoD announced Wednesday the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Staff Sgt. Christopher F. Pantos, 55, of Richmond, died Monday at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, as the result of a non-combat-related incident.
Officials say the incident is under investigation.
