OKINAWA, Japan - The Navy and Marine Corps showed off their teamwork in the recently completed exercise Noble Fury 21.

The training involved Marines and Sailors from III Marine Expeditionary Force and 7th Fleet working together.

The ten-day evolution took place in Okinawa and other Japanese islands.

“These exercises provide opportunities for high-end dynamic training, allowing our naval and joint forces to exercise their skills in the littorals as an integrated force. Noble Fury gives our Marines and Sailors the opportunity to sharpen their skills while practicing missions specifically designed for the Indo-Pacific," said Vice Admiral Bill Merz, 7th Fleet commander, in a news release.

Navy ships USS America, USS Germantown, and USS New Orleans all took part in the training.
