NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Newport News police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash.
According to police, on Monday around 7:56 p.m., police responded to a a crash involving a motorcyclist near the intersection of J Clyde Morris and Warwick Boulevard.
28-year-old Nathan Faison, of Newport News, was taken to a local hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. Police say he later died from his injuries at the hospital.
According to the preliminary investigation, Faison lost control and struck a curb. No other vehicles were involved.
Police say speed was a factor in the crash.
No further information is available at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
