Newport News police responded to a call of a shooting in the 300 block of Roseman Ct. at approximately 9:59 p.m. on December 23, 2021.
Officers found a man in his mid-20s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The man was identified as 24-year-old Michael Anthony Neblett.
The investigation is ongoing.
