NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - A man was injured in a shooting outside Patrick Henry Mall Friday afternoon.
According to police, the call for the shooting came in at 4:03 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say the shooting occurred in the mall's rear parking lot near the food court entrance. The mall remains open.
